More Space

​​The Shoosmith Gallery continues to acquire paintings for the collection, and it is becoming clear that we will need to review our existing space in order to efficiently display more art. As a first step, this will mean we require new display equipment for the collection.

UV GLASS FOR FVS WORKS â€‹

The FVS collection would benefit from the replacement of the existing glass in our frames with new UV-resistant glass. This would reduce the exposure of the paintings to ultraviolet light by 92%, thereby extending the life of the collection for future generations.

We aim to promote art therapy as a creative expression for the alleviation of trauma and as a means for the advancement of the physical and emotional well-being of people. We are fundraising to provide workshops at Delapré Abbey, supported by a professional art therapist.
